Avia Weber | President & Founder

Avia (she/her) is a rising senior in high school who is an avid panda lover, water tower enthusiast, and advocate for the color yellow. She is an interracial adoptee from Chongqing, China and has used her experiences from the very beginning of her life to present day to share her story and amplify the voices within the adoption community.

Emma Szydlow | Vice President

Emma (she/her) is a PIAA and PIAAA District qualifying track star and cross country athlete. She is an active member of the swim team and is learning Krav Maga. Aside from sports, she is a leader at her school as Vice President of the Global Scholars Club and Treasurer of the Model UN Club. She volunteers at St. Luke's University Hospitals and dedicates her efforts to school clubs such as MiniTHON, Stage Crew, Scholastic Scrimmage, Environmental Club/Envirothon, and National Honor Scoiety. Emma is excited to bring her leadership skills to this organization and increase awareness among members of GenerationZ.

Maggie Chi | Treasurer

Maggie (she/her) is a record holding, swimming champion in high school and club swimming. She runs cross country and actively particpates in leadership positions within her school. Maggie identifies with the AAPI community and is billingual in English and Chinese languages. She enjoys seeing the world and experiencing the cultures through travel. Additionally, she enjoys doing binging tv shows and eating macaroons.

Nick Brogle | Board Member

Nick Brogle (he/him) is a rising senior for the 2021-2022 school year. People would generally describe him as a person who likes to have some fun, all while maintaining a good work ethic. In his free time, he is a member of various sports, such as swimming and track and field, as well as being president of the Calc Club at his school. He was also the editor-in-chief for my school’s newspaper, the Panther Press. Outside of school and athletics, Nick likes to read, binge Netflix, and hang out with his dog. Nick also involved with PMEA; He plays clarinet in his free time and has even competed at an above-state level!


Hannah Palmer | Board Member

Hannah Palmer (she/her) is a senior at Avonworth High School in Pittsburgh, PA. She founded the social justice club and is currently the co-head editor for yearbook club! She participates in the drama program at her school and has a passion for social justice education!

Eliza Sanders | Social Media

Eliza Sanders (she/her), from Kingsport, Tennessee, was adopted from the Guangdong Province of China when she was 12 months old. Becoming part of a family completely changed her life, so her dream is that all children would have a family to call their own. Eliza understands that most people may never adopt or foster, but she wants to share ways they can do their part to help children find a forever family. She is excited to partner with Anna Spaulding in heading Social Media and Research. In addition to adoption and foster care advocacy, Eliza is passionate about dance. She is a captain of her school’s dance team, where she received All-American honors; a dance captain for the musical theatre department; and a member of her dance studio’s select performance team. Eliza has also volunteered for several years at a Chinese cultural dance program through a local adoption support group. She is involved in many other school and community activities, including Student Council, Beta Club, Mayor’s Youth Council and the Miss America Organization Outstanding Teen program.

Anna Spaulding | Social Media

Anna Spaulding (she/her) is from Copenhagen, New York. She is a recent graduate from Copenhagen Central School and will be attending the University of Toledo. She has been actively involved in countless clubs, notably, SADD, YAC, yearbook, and led her school as Class President. Additionally, she holds the title of Miss Pride of New York's Outstanding Teen 2020-21 and is so honored to be apart of the Made of More team. As an international adoptee, she feels it's so important to bring awareness to adoption stories and relevant adoption issues. Her family is built from adoption so this cause is very near and dear to her heart.

Madeleine Johnson | Writers

Madeleine Rae Johnson (she/her) is an adoptee, pageant girl, model, and has a heart of service. Currently, she is your reigning 2021 International Junior Miss Connecticut Teen and Love Branches Out CEO. Madeleine Rae is excited to be the writers and blog head and can’t wait to continue to get to know everyone!

Ja'lani Foster | Outreach & Marketing

Ja'Lani Foster (she/her) is a senior in high school from the Bay Area California! You need to know these five things she loves: Arts, Science, Advocacy, Movies, and carbs. She loves to eat anything from pasta to bread, and you will always see a smile on her face as she does. Ja'Lani loves 80's - 90's movies and anything new as she is super open minded to a good binge. To combine the arts and sciences, she loves lots of art from paint, writing poetry, to fashion and dancing. The world of science excites her from Astronomy to Neuroscience. Lastly, advocacy is a passion of hers that she spreadsto others to stand up and make your voice heard when others can't be heard to support one another.

MaryAndrea Lundin

Mary (she/her) is an adopted daughter from South China. She is student at East Tennessee State University, pursing an international career. Mary is a member of serval musical ensembles and choirs. Passionate about adoption and supporting her local community, she is excited to be a part of this organization.
